What would you pay?

This isn't about sex...but I am a freelance hand-letterer and I just started getting into the wedding scene! I'm hand-lettering and putting invitations and signage together for a girl's wedding. And since a lot of you are planning weddings, I'm curious to know what you would pay to hire someone to do these things for you??

Depends on number of invitations and other decorations you were doing. How long does it typically take you to complete one invitation? Is it just the invitation or are envelopes included? I'd probably say like $150 for 50 invitations. David's Bridal and other invitation sites have some of their invitations priced at $4-$8 per invitation (envelopes included). You're handmaking these items so it'd be about $3 per invitation which isn't bad for the buyer. Other decorations I'd say would vary on size and cost of supplies to make them. Like another post said, check Etsy out and compare prices asked there to get a better idea.

I have no idea how much this stuff typical runs so I can't answer your question. But you have such sweet handwriting! I would pay for you to teach me haha
