Does waxing hurt?

I'm thinking of getting a bikini and underarm wax done this summer. My underarms are dark and I hear that waxing can lighten these areas. But I hate pain. Does it hurt a lot ?

I never done waxing before but I may have go get one since I cannot see down below anymore shaving lol. My hubby won't shave for me bc he's afraid of cutting me.

It really isn't that bad. The parts you think will hurt don't and the parts that you don't expect to hurt will hurt. But really, not that big of a deal. Good luck!

I mean it's hot wax on skin and then ripping the hair off of it. Of course it hurts and it take a couple times to get use to it.

It doesn't "hurt" but will have u shedding a tear or two lol I've been doing it for the past 2 years n it's great! I obviously can't see past my belly so I don't have a choice anyways. But waxing is way better than shaving.

Take two or 3 ibuprofens beforehand, you'll be fine! The more you worry, the more tense you become before/during your appointment, the harder it will be. Don't psych yourself out!

Relax, take an ibuprofen, and a warm bath/shower to soften the follicle before you go.

Yes, it hurts. But it's such a short-lived pain that it's totally worth it.

Depends on your pain tolerance. I can picture myself somewhere else and remove myself from it. I flinch but it doesn't really hurt me.
