Postpartum Thyroiditis?

Question

I am 5 months postpartum and was having severe anxiety, sweats and heart palpitations. I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. Anyone have this? What did you do to fix it? How long did it take to go away? I hear it can go away on its own.

Yes had this with my first and went on a Beta Blocker and thyroid medication for a year! Helped a ton and at one year it went away. BUT, keep tabs on it. Even though my TH was fine, my antibodies run high, which still can cause issues and eventually come back to show in your TH again.
