I am a second time mom 5 days PP and I have a 2nd degree perineal tear as the result of an episiotomy I received 5 years ago when I had my first baby. I declined stitches this time around because when I was stitched back up the last time the Dr. put me together wrong and I've basically torn every time I DTD since then. I'm just wondering if anyone has a second degree perineal tear that they let heal without stitches and DIDN'T regret it. There are a lot of horror stories on Google and i need some reassurance...
