Anyone else?

Question

Has anyone's spouse been really short and grouchy? I'm breastfeeding so he sleeps all night, so I know he's not sleep deprived like myself. This is our third baby and he took some time off. I thought it would be happy family time together but he's so grouchy to me and the kids, and I just don't get it?! It's been one week btw so I'm hoping he will chill out soon.

Same here, he's all "I'm so tired and stressed out" and I'm saying I'm sorry babe but in my head I'm thinking "stfu you whiny manchild, I haven't had more then 40 consecutive minutes of sleep in weeks and I smell like sweat and baby vomit and misery and my nipples are going to fall off and I still have the house and the dogs and the other kids and the horses and bills and shopping and..... Well you get the point.... , what the hell are you tired about?!" 
Sorry, sleep deprivation is making me abominable bitchy.

So... I'm thinking he's just horny... Haha. I still take care of him, but not as often now as we have a newborn with more important needs that make me way more tired! And obviously he's not getting sex for at least another 4 weeks!! 
Maybe a nice ten minute shared shower can help your husband relax a little 😉 if you can manage it.

I've noticed the same from my husband. We had our first daughter who will be 4 weeks old this week. And my husband is normally always so laid back and doesn't argue, but since she has been born he is mich shorter with me and he hasn't lost any sleep since she has been born. He also coaches so he wrks full time and then coaches in the evenings so he gets plenty of time away from me and the baby. It's very sad and frustrating. I thought it would be a happy time but we fight constantly.

My husband definitely acts more tired than I am. He sleeps through everything too. And it's just easier to do everything when I'm already up feeding the baby. On weekends I will wake him up and have him cuddle her while I finish pumping and what not. But during the week he sleeps soundly. I tend to be more grouchy than he is 😏 he's careful not to complain too much because he knows he gets way more sleep than I do.
