Cryselle birth control

Ladies, I've been taking the cryselle birth control pills and experiencing really bad heat flashes. I will start pouring sweat at the slightest bit of movement. I am now almost 3 months pp and due to a blood infection I got while pregnant my ob won't let me do the mirena, Skyla etc because he says its higher risk of collecting bacteria and causing me to be infected again): I HATE pills because I always forget to take them.
