Today is my son birthday.
So I thought I would share his crazy birth story.
So is my 3rd son, so I been though labor before but nothing like this.
So 3 years ago, I went in on a beautiful Friday morning at 6am to start to be induced on my due date. (I have big babies, so they don't allow me to go over my due dates) so we get there every thing is going great around 12 they start the the meds. Contracts are mild not too bad, so I was not dilating fast enough, so around 2:30pm the nurse told me I was only 2cms. For me to go home and come back tomorrow, and the STUDENT Doctor came in to check me (as she was learning) she said no I was 4cm and I asked the nurse how could that be. The nurse told me that she stretched me from 2-4cms and than broke my water. And I had a bad feeling the whole time. After my water breaking the contracts where getting worst and worst. So I was doing great. At 3:15 I ask for an epidural. But it was too late. He was crowning, so I had to pull him out. 43 mins of active labor. He was born 3:23pm but something was not right. He was very grey blue, and they took him out of the room. I did not get to see him. I look at his father and he took he that he had his cord around his neck. Later found out it was 3 times. I thought we lost him. They were doing CPR in the hallway. After 7 long minutes I heard him cry. It was so beautiful!
