👶🏾💞 ; long story lol

My water broke on 05/11/16 at 6:30 am. I wasn't sure if it was my water or not so I told my mom & my brother that I was going to take a shower & then we should head to the hospital. I lost my mucous plug in the shower & when I got out I started having minor contractions. When I got to the hospital I was 5 centimeters dilated. I stayed in the triage room for a couple of hours until I got admitted. The nurses checked me again to see if I dilated any more but I didn't. After 6 hrs passed I only dilated 1 more centimeter so they decided to give me pitocin to increase my contractions. Not too long after they gave me the pitocin my contractions got more intense & unbearable so I asked for an epidural. I had to get an extra dose of the epidural to get fully numb but after that I was able to take a nap. By 10pm I was fully dilated but the baby's head was still high up so the nurses waited an hr to get me to start pushing. The hr passed and the nurses didn't come into the room and my epidural started wearing off so I started feeling the contractions & I became very uncomfortable so I yelled at my brother & told him to get the nurses bc I was so ready to get this baby out lol. The nurses came in and had me push during contractions & it was so painful. I pushed for an hr & every time the baby's head was coming out , it would go back in so the dr asked if I wanted to get her suctioned out. I tried to push one last time to see if I could do it on my own but I didn't have any energy & I started getting nauseous. The dr had to cut me open to fit the auction on the baby's head & when I pushed the dr pulled the baby out & layed her on me , I felt so relieved 😩. When they laid my baby on me she was so ready to eat she was sucking on my bra so I breastfed her & she ate for an hr. She was born 05/12/16 at 12:26 am weighing 8lbs 8oz.
