Miscarriage?

I had EXTREMELY bad cramps earlier today. My period had been 20 days late (but my mom just passed away last month so I've been super stressed and I wasn't really expecting a period this month). So I just put in a tampon and took some ibuprofen and moved on. Later this evening, I took the tampon out and there was a large chunk of some kind of tissue. Honestly, it looked like a placenta to me. But I have no idea. Low key freaking out.
