Biodegradable Nappies/Wipes, a waste or worth it ??

Question

I've been looking into lots of different nappies; Naty by Nature, Beaming Baby being the most prominent to myself and my SO.

Has anyone used these or have any others to recommend?

I was looking into cloth diapers and homemade wipes. Less chemicals! Disposables are good for when you take the baby out for the day or during bedtime. I came across a pin on pinterest for making your own wipes. Also how to use some durable cloth as reusable diapers. All you would need is disposable liners.

I heard that the Naty brand isn't as Eco-friendly and that they leak more. Do you have access to the Delora brand? I know my Costco will sell them online. I've heard nothing but great things about that one.

I'm using a cloth diapering service myself and when we go out for long periods of time then we will use disposable.

The diaper still has to be made out of something that is plastic or akin to plastic, meaning unless you recycle it, it's not going to be "biodegradable". Some parts of the diaper maybe, but any disposable diaper is never going to be 100% biodegradable.
I agree with the other lovely lady that commented, look into cloth diapers. They are more work, but if you do care about th environment and not adding more to the landfills than what's necessary, it's worth it.
They can seem expensive at first, but the overall cost is almost 3x cheaper then disposable.

Look up Andy pandy diapers. Heard good things. I think that's the brand we will go with. I cloth diapered with my other two but I just don't think I can handle it this time around. I already do insane amounts of laundry. Good luck!
