i had some of my toe nail go into my skin and I got it out but I cut to much of my skin and I'm getting my toes down today and it hurts when people put pressure on it. well I still be okay to get my toes done?

I'm a nail tech. We are supposed to refer our clients to go to their physician. An ingrown nail could be a small surgical procedure so we are not supposed to mess with it but just clip around it and file.

You shouldn't cut the corners of your toe nails that short. You probably have an ingrown nail. Most nail places will take them out for you (at least here they do). If it gets worse go to the dr. Use peroxide and Epsom salt soaks to take out that infection.

You might be getting an ingrown toenail the best thing to do it to let it grow out square and to keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't get infected but you can get your nails done no problem just let them know the situation

I wouldn't just because it is a breeding ground for germs! They say not to shave before getting nail done.... well your toe is a big no no.
