Femara?

Today I went to my fertility specialist for the very first time. He wants to try femara and starting it tonight. I'm on CD 9. Is femara different than clomid that you can take it this late in your cycle??? I know clomid is typically 3-7 or 5-9 CD...so was confused on why/we can be starting femara on CD 9

Two rounds of clomid didn't work.  Femara did. I don't remember what cd I took it on though.

I am currently taking Femara on cycle days 3-7.  Starting my 3rd month tomorrow. Higher dose this time of 7.5mg. Good Luck!

You can take it later I started it on cd 3-7 and then a second dose cd 9-14. Its usually started earlier though.
