My cat Castiel. Need advice!!
Okay, I have a cat. I've had him for almost a year and no I'm not getting rid of him or kicking him out of my room those are not options. He's mine I love him and he's not going anywhere.
Okay now that we got that out of the way. My cat has developed a compulsive disorder. I got him early from his mother and he in the end started suckling on my neck which we got him to where he did it on hands instead and now he does it on blankets while cuddling me or my fiance.
Well, we are having a baby in September I need advice on how to teach him that he isn't allowed into the crib. We will be co-sleeping. I wake up very easily and would if he moved up on me or baby Ellie. So maybe I could get him to sleep on only her dad's side of the bed.
He normally starts laying next to us suckling a blanket than ends up at the end of the bed. And he only does it at night time like all day I can be in bed and he never trys to cuddle me only at night time. And he can sleep all day on the bed with me and never does it. He's slowly getting to where he doesn't need to suckle but if he isn't over it when she comes home I need other options.
Ps. No I didn't know how young he was the girl lied and said he was 7 weeks he was only five. I had to get him to go to other people and he is a Russian blue so he is extremely shy. He hides in my room when people come over.
Just looking for advice.
