Your natural birth experience?

Nervous FTM here! I want to aim for a natural birth - PLEASE share your natural birth experiences and help me out!

It was awesome. Not unbearable or anything you can't handle. Just stay focused and breathe. And remember that contractions have a beginning, a peak, and an end. Just talk yourself through each one. I had my mom and husband keep dipping wash clothes in ice water and everytime the one I was using on my neck or forehead got warm I switched it out. I hung in my husband and rocked my hips like we were slow dancing. It was a beautiful experience. Do not be afraid of pooping while pushing. I was and therefore I wasn't pushing right and it took over an hour for me to brush the baby out. Stay calm, focused, and confident. Because you can do this. You were meant to do this.

I'm curious to hear about this too. I have a high tolerance for pain and even though it might get unbearable, women were made for it! I trust in my body's ability to sustain me throughout pregnancy and childbirth.

You should watch that movie "the business of being born" it'll answe questions about natural birth that you didn't even know you had!! It was absolutely amazing and convinced me to give it a go the natural way. Before I was so scared of labor but after watching that movie I'm actually excited!!!!

contractions were awful as hell. I thought I was dying. (being honest here) but the pushing wasn't that bad. and I got medication afterwords and it was amazing. still gonna try and do it again with this baby. (wasn't planned last time)
