When did you have your baby shower?

So I didn't really get an opportunity to have a baby shower with my older two and am now pregnant with babies 3 & 4 😊
Being pregnant with twins has put me on high alert and I'm constantly concerned. I'm to the point where I don't want to even buy anything until I know they are both here and safe. (Paranoid, I know 😔)

When is a good time to have a baby shower? Would it be wrong of me to wait until they are here?

I'll be 26 weeks at mine.  We are having it at my house and I'll have TONS of help, but I wanted to make sure I had the energy to enjoy it.  I don't think there's anything wrong with waiting till after.  These are not your first kids so you know what to expect.  I personally would be too scared to do a bunch of planning after the birth not knowing how I'll feel or how the babies will be doing...but that's me and this is not new for you. 😉 I think a lot of people prefer to go to a party after the babies are born so they can meet them too!

You could definitely do a meet the babies party. That way family and friends can meet the babies as well.

I felt the same way.... I waited until this weekend and I'll be 32 weeks. Wanted to wait as long as possible but my doctor said don't wait too long just in case they come early and you want to have everything ready.
