Is it absolutely nescessary to sterilize brand new bottles and pacifiers? Can I just wash them with Babyganics dish soap?

I don't have an actual sterilizer and I'm scared to put everything in boiling water because I don't want to damage the really nice bottles and pacifiers I got. I have Babyganics soap made specifically for bottles, would it be okay if I just washed them in hot water with that? FTM here- trying to get everything ready.

You can buy steaming bags in most breastfeeding sections. You can use them for bottles too. You just add water and put them in the microwave.

Take them apart and drop them in some boiling water for a couple mins-then let them air dry-that's how i sterilized my first childs bottles

Boiling doesn't hurt them or change them at all. They are made to be boiled.
