On 5/19 at 2:55AM my water broke. Got to the hospital around 3:45AM and was admitted to my birthing room. I got into the jacuzzi bath tub in my room at about 6:30 so I could relax and get some rest. Contractions didn't start for me until about 7AM, was dilated to a 4.5, and got an epidural at this time. Man that epidural saved my life and really made the labor process speed up on its own, didn't have any help from medications besides the pain meds from the epidural. At 7:30 my dilation was at 9cm, 30 min later I felt the need to push. Only pushed for 33 minutes and it was so much easier than I anticipated it would be! I had a great support system with me the entire day, my husband, parents, and closest friends were rock stars!  I am so blessed to have my little girl Sylar with us, she is everything and more that I could have ever asked for. Can't wait to continue the journey of being a mom.
