That's definitely something you don't do without at least telling your spouse. Regardless of whether I would be ok with it or not you don't do something so serious without consulting your so.

I would be angry bc something as serious as that should be discussed with your partner beforehand. I don't need to give him "permission" but I would like for him to take my feeling and opinions into consideration before making his decision.

I'd be more concerned about why he felt the need to get one, honestly. And worry about if I had seemed I approachable about it. 
That's pretty major, so I would be upset about The lack of communication, but I don't want kids so I would be pretty happy with the actual procedure.

Unless he promised me that we would have children, I'd be fine with it. I don't a person owes anyone else the ability to have children just by being in a relationship with them. If their spouse has a problem with it, then they should have talked about it before they married.

Im glad my husband and I talked about this .. im expecting a my 3rd baby anytime soon.. he had seen me suffere with BC method and he thinks that 3 is lucky number  and 3 is enough .. i think the same way .. he like you sacrifice alot with your body before and after pregnancies ..so I rather just do the vasectomy.. im glad he getting it done mid june.

If we were thinking about more children then I would be pissed, but then again it's his body. I don't own him.

My cousin actually went through this. She meet her now husband in the army, he was married and had 4 kids with his wife, they had an affair, he left his wife, she got pregnant now their little girl is 6. When there daughter was around 2 they tried and tried for another with no sucess. At a family dinner with his family, his brother busted him out about his vasectomy. As you could imagine it didn't go over very well, lots of fights, arguments, and the split up for awhile. She still has resentment towards him for it and tells everyone and him, she will always hate him for it.

If we already had a few kids together I'd only be mad that he didn't tell me but then I'd be like phew I don't have to get my tubes tied now. If we had no kids and he didn't talk to me about it.... Oooo id be livid!
