When's a good time to start shopping for baby??

I'm a first time mom and currently 14w4d, so far baby and myself are doing well. But I can't help thinking about wanting to buy a teddy bear or his or her first outfit. When is a good time to start shopping for baby? I have no clue, but so far I was thinking around 6 or 7 months...

I'm 7 months and I would say I'm about halfway done shopping. I'm not having a baby shower, so I pick it up as I go. Our nursery has been furnished forever though, courtesy of excited grandparents. I started grabbing things around 5 1/2 months

I started at 16 weeks once we knew the gender.

I started buying diapers and lotions and things that I'm going to need no matter what around 17 weeks. I also found out the gender at nine weeks with a blood test. I waited until 20 weeks just to start buying clothes. And around 30 weeks I finished everything up.

Right now you can buy like your diapers, lotion, baby wash, and wipes and then when you find out gender you can start buying the clothes or you can start now and just buy gender-neutral clothes however you want to do it

Well in 32 weeks and all I have is a stroller, car seat and pack n play. It's really up to you haha. I think most people wait til they at least know the gender. Or if you're having a shower wait til after, especially for stuff like clothes, diapers, feeding stuff etc, cause people will pretty much buy all of that.

Last time i started at 12 weeks, this time i will start as soon as because i will have 2 children 14 months apart so want to be well prepared and think its cheaper buying things over a few months then all in one go and i just LOVE shopping for my babys 😊😊
