Insurance assistance?

We are expecting twins in a couple months, and I've heard a few times that some insurance companies assist with things such as breast pumps or infant formula. Has anyone heard of this before? Currently I have my own individual insurance with BCBS and my fiancé, our son, and the twins will be under his Humana plan.

Yes BCBS is who I have and I just received my Medela pump Friday!

Yepp all insurances now cover Breast pumps, you need a prescription from your doctor and then you'll have to call your insurance and see which ones they cover :)

I'm not sure about formula coverage, but your insurance will absolutely cover a pump!
Most cover options of different brands (my sisters BCBS plan offered like 15 different brands/types) most of which are double electric! There should be a number you can call on your card or online to find out exactly what you need to get yours!

I went through edgepark to get my breast pump though my insurance. Easy process and it's quick.  Just got online to their website. It's worth it!!!!

Blue cross blue shield covered mine 100%. I went through edgepark also. Very easy! Ur insurance company just needs and order for one from ur ob

I have United Heaghcare and they supply a breast pump! Just call your insurance company and ask:)
