Due date wrong?

So I'm 24w4d and I went to the Dr Wednesday and they told me my.baby was already 2.1 lbs. Which is a pound over what he is suppose to be? Could my due date be wrong? They said they wouldn't change it because it'll be only a couple weeks different. But now idk how far along I actually am!!

if your lmp is putting u at 28 w I would rather go by that then a due date that they got off a  measurment at 7 weeks that they seem to be sticking to....

Also remember ultrasounds are not always very accurate. They can be off quite a bit (5-15% usually I heard) when it comes to baby weight in utero and that's quite a bit when we're talking barely a pound or two.

My date changed from 12th to the 4th. It was after I had an emergency scan, which I'm a little gutted about because I want a September baby and I'm thinking I'll have him in August!

That's so annoying. They changed mine from the 23rd sept to 16th and even though it's not far apart it is still nice to actually know how far I am. I would've asked how far along exactly they thought I was even if they weren't technically changing the date 🙄

My little girl is measuring 1 1/2 weeks ahead but my doc says that all babies grow differently so there is no reason to change the due date

After the first trimester the babies weight and height are all over the place!!! You can't guess it's due date based on its weight and height after 16 weeks. What ever you're last period was is your best guess! It's always nice having a chubby baby tho! 💙
