So my five year old son has not been feeling good for 6 days now. I thought its just the flu as he was saying his tummy and head hurt then threw up a couple times. Well over the last three days he hasn't thrown up at all but keeps complaining that his tummy is in the worst pain ever. Its around his belly button and more to the right side. Also he won't eat and just wants to sleep all the time. And that is soooooo NOT my son. I took him up to emergency today just to be told its the flu and it will pass.. Except they didn't do any blood work or anything. My boy has been crying and saying its the worst pain ever so all the doctor did was pump him full of painkillers and send us on our way. But yet if the pain persists I'm supposed to take him back! I'm so frustrated. I know something is wrong and how the hell do they know anything without a scan or blood work or anything??? Anyone had a similar situation?? Please let me know how it turned out as I'm very concerned for my little man
