How many cans of formula do you need a month?

If you choose not to breastfeed or medically can't breastfeed... How many cans of formula will you need a month?

My son was a preemie, we went through about a can every 1 1/2-2 days, when he got older it was pretty much a can every day until he switched to milk. Get WIC. It won't cover everything but it'll cover some, and it helps. Formula is very, very, very, very expensive--and sometimes it's hard getting your baby the right kind--we switched our formula brand about 10 times total, because of different issues each one caused for our son. It's all up to your discretion, but personally, after having a completely formula fed infant, I'm 300% on the breastfeeding train. I'm planning on BF #2 from day 1, especially since I couldn't get that chance with my micro preemie.

Wic gives me 9. Out of pocket I pay for about 3 extra. That's for me tho.

My baby is 2 months. I don't produce enough breast milk so he gets mostly formula (and a handful of BM ounces), and we go through a can every 3 days right now....
