My June baby is here!

Natasha
After a what we thought to be a normal follow up ob visit, I got sent to labor and delivery on Wednesday night due to high blood pressure and protein found in my urine. I've never had high blood pressure! So I listened to Dr's orders and went to get checked out. The blood pressure only increased and so did the protein in my urine! I went from mild preeclampsia to severe in a matter of hours! It was then time to get induced!
I got induced at 2:30am Thursday morning and progressed pretty quickly. Or so I thought. From the time I was induced to my baby being born, was just about 24 hours! The last 2 hours I pushed while at 10cm's! I had 4 failed epidurals! So this girl went all natural and boy was it an experience!! I screamed, cried, fainted, vomitted, screamed some more and FINALLY!! He was worth every inch of pain I went through. I got 2nd degree perineal tears on the left side only. Had the best nursing and Dr team who coached me through every contraction. As unprepared as we were for the delivery, we were very prepared if he came early. Ladies, pack your bags now!! You never know! I was 36 weeks and a few days!
My baby was due June 14th, made his arrival May 20th! He is a healthy 5lbs 1oz. We are just so in love!
