This is my 4th baby. I got off work at 6:30 pm, and started having contractions at 7 pm. My husband didn't get off work until 830, and got home at 9pm. I told him i think we should go get checked at the hospital (which is 50 mins away) "but eat some dinner first" I said. 10 pm rolls around and I urgently told him we need to leave now. I knew I was going to have her that night because all of a sudden 5 mins down the road My contractions were 2-3 mins apart. My husband was flying down the highway. I started looking up how to have a baby on the side of the road, and called the hispital. My husband was going so fast we made it to the hospital In 22 mins! When we made it up to labor and delivery it was 10 30, and I was 6 cm dilated. The nurses were trying to get me situated in my room, and an IV in. I kinda started freaking out because they weren't going fast enough for my liking and I felt the urge to push, so they checked me again at 10:40 and I was 9 1/2 cm. I had Hailey Ann at 10:48pm. 😊 6lb 4oz 18 inches long. Perfect little girl. Thank God my husband knows how to drive. 😘
