Being induced early question.

So I'm going to add this anonymously because I know i will get judged for it. I'm sure I'm not the only one out there who has and does do this and I know it's horrible but it has happened. I am a smoker. I smoked before I was pregnant from 16-26 I did slow down when I found out I was pregnant. I tried cold turkey and the doctor advised me not to because it was making the babies heart rate drop and putting the baby in stress mode. I have went from a full pack a day to 5 a day which my doctor says is good just to keep slowing down. I am currently 31 weeks pregnant an my doctor asked me if I would like to be induced early because my baby is "bigger" than most 31 week olds and believes by the time I get to 37-38 weeks that he is going to be developed enough that I can have him sooner. He has no issues as seen, no cleft pallet, all 10 fingers and toes, heart looks fine, all body parts are there and normal length, he is very active, during ultrasound he smiles and sucks his fingers and shows no sign of distress (doesn't touch his face a lot like people say babies do with smoking mothers)  With that being said. 1) if you have anything negative to say about smoking keep it to yourself. 2) if you yourself are not a smoker of 10 years and don't know how cold turkey feels and how it affects your body and baby then do research 3) I didn't Know I was pregnant till I was 8 weeks pregnant so it's not like I had a choice to slow down before I got pregnant 4) calling me a bad parent, saying negative things about me and lecturing me about smoking is not going to change the fact I did it and my doctor advised me not to stop. She told me not to for a reason. So anyhow has any other mothers or soon to be mothers on here for induced early and was also a smoker?
