How many of you mamas out there play music for or read to your little bump? If so what do you read to them and what are your music choices?

I played him mansons sweet dreams and he seemed to like it lol. I don't buy all that classical music crap and kids songs. Mine have always listened to rock with me. I don't specify my music to a kid.

Honestly, I've been reading Harry Potter to the baby and my husband 😂🤓 my husband wanted to read the books though, so I figured win win! As far as music goes, I play a lot of movie scores and contemporary.

I read scriptures, signs, ingredients lists, and various books aloud. I also try to narrate what I'm doing.

For music, I like almost anything but I've been trying to avoid profane music for my own comfort.

The Mozart Effect (classical music in utero makes kids smarter) has been disproven, so I wouldn't worry about being specific with music unless that's your preference.
