Spotting or bloody show?
Yesterday I was checked at 38 weeks. Only a "tight centimeter" dilated ugh but more than halfway effaced. I know that you can spot after your checks. I had one other check at 36 weeks where I was completely closed and had a little bit of brown discharge after. Yesterday evening I had some brown discharge but today I'm also having it. I thought I was starting to lose my mucus plug a few days ago but today I am sure I am as I saw that it really fit the description of a mucus plug.
I just wasn't sure if the brown discharge I am experiencing today was part of the "bloody show" since it's here 24 hours later and there's more than last time accompanied by mucus or just spotting from being checked since I'm not very dilated. Then I thought well a bloody show would probably have to be pink or red anyway right? I apologize if that sounds dumb, first time mom here! Maybe I'm just getting impatient, my due date is June 3rd 😁
