Previa and hospitalized
At 20 weeks my US showed that my placenta was almost completely covering my cervix. Doc said most move and the only restrictions she gave me was pelvic rest. 28 wk US showed it has not moved at all. Last Friday I woke up with contractions and lots of pressure in my bottom. Got up and went to the bathroom and a gush of blood came out. Called my doc and they had me come in right away. I was admitted for monitoring. The following day I woke up to a pool of blood that just kept gushing out. My doc was so close to doing emergency c section but since I was only 30 weeks she really wanted to wait. I eventually stopped bleeding and am now at the point where I am in the hospital on bed rest until he comes. The lastest they will keep me pregnant is 36 weeks, this would be 4 more weeks in the hospital. I know this is all for the baby but I cry every day thinking why me. I barely get any sleep here with all the nurses in and out. I just feel so depressed. Anyone else experienced hospitalized bed rest for weeks? Could use some encouraging words 😢
