Sick prior to labor?

I'm 37 weeks, 1.5 cm dilated (70-80% effaced), and have been having contractions a lot the last week or two. I actually went to the hospital to make sure everything was okay but they aren't regular enough yet.  The past few days, I have had a low fever (in the 99's--which is a higher temp for my body), and feel extra exhausted, achey, and just sick. On top of my contractions coming and going.  I was just wondering if anyone felt "sick" like this before going into labor?  Didn't know if I'm just having pregnancy crap or if it's indicative I may be going back to the hospital soon.
