So far these are our mien and my boyfriends fave name each
as we find it hard to come up with some that are not as common, Which sounds best?

I really like the name James myself (it was my grandfathers middle name) but it's REALLY common right now which makes me hesitant to choose it. That said, if you truly love it then you should go with your gut.

I'm probably ignorant, but Adlee sounded like a girl name. But I know a couple little girls named Hadley so that's probably why I jumped to that conclusion.
