Work Advice
So I work for an Amazon facility on the shipping dock. I've been put on restrictions by my doctor. I'm not suppose to be constantly lifting anything over 25lbs. So actually loading trucks isn't an option. But i am able to divert boxes from our conveyer to the trucks and I'm able to sort our flight packages. My issue at first was that one of my PAs (supervisor) on two of my for nights wasn't respecting my restrictions in the sense of wanting me to pull heavy boxes from the lines once the truck was backed up due to not having a loader. So my first step was to speak to a manager. They said they'd talk to him which I assume they did because the next week during our start up(which is a little group meeting at the beginning of the night) this PA decided to ask about it during the meeting in front of eveyone. Being a personal matter I felt he went about it in the worst way possible. So now I'm left at a point where I'm not sure if I should tell my manager how he handled it or just go directly to HR about his turning a private matter into everyones business. All advice will be appreciated..
