Our Roman Charles arrived today on his due date at 0530 and weighed 7lbs 14 oz and is 21 in long. He has a full head of dark hair. It was a quick and intense labor that started at home around midnight, we arrived at the hospital at 1:30 and I was already dilated to 6, and completely effaced. I got my first epidural around 3:30 am and got to rest for nearly two hours before complete. So different from my previous and super intense all natural unmedicated labors. I was fully dilated by 5:15 and afteronly 4 or so pushes he was out and I got to reach down and grab him as he was put on my chest. I got to announce he was a boy! No tears in the lady parts at all! Finally my intuition was right after three babies! 

Daddy cut the cord when it stopped pulsing and Roman had 9/9 apgar scores. He got wiped off and weighed then snuggled on my chest and nursed off and on for about an hour. We are beyond happy and blessed to have a healthy baby boy added to our sweet brood and can't wait to see what kinds of wonderful and crazy memories he will bring to our family.
