What does a miscarriage feel like?

I had EXTREMELY heavy bleeding for almost a week. The worst pain I had ever experienced. I couldn't sleep for 2 days because I was in so much pain. I finally took a bath and fell asleep in the tub as the water was running because I was so exhausted. Woke up to pain. But, I was also 13 weeks pregnant when I miscarried so my body had a lot to discard.

I've had two and was in the hospital for both. One of the worst pains I've ever experienced.

It kind of goes through all of those stages. When I had a miscarriage a few years ago it was brown blood at first, then spotting and light cramping, then heavy blood and heavy cramping, and then just general pain and soreness for about a week.

My first one I was 16 weeks and that was the worst pain and so much blood.  I bleed for 2 weeks after like a heavy period.   My 2 was a dnc so I spotted for a day with no pain I was 5 weeks.   3 and 4 th ones.  I started having period like cramps for about an hour and right before it came out I hurt for about 10 mins and I felt like I had to push something out and they feel out.  I bleed for a few hours after but them only spotted for a week.  With both of my babies that I had at 37 and 39 weeks I only bleed a little  like a lite period for a week and spotted for 3 to 4 weeks.

None of the above. My waters broke, spent week being monitored in hospital then some of the cord hung out n after 2 more days, there was no heartbeat. 20wks.

I think it just depends on how far along you are/were. I was between 5 & 6 weeks with mine and I just had some heavy bleeding for 2 days then brown blood for 5 days. I didn't have any pain though. I think the further along you are the more pain you will have.

Mine was horrible. Cramps way worse than period cramps and a lot of bleeding

I felt absolutely nothing. Just bled light and after it passed is when I got period cramps. No pain at all.
