5 weeks pregnant what's next?

Found out I'm pregnant last week and me and OH are over the moon to say the least! But where do I go from here. What's next ? Appointments, midwives etc...

Call a doctor, get an appointment set up, which could be scheduled anywhere from now to ten weeks, just depends on when they want to see you. If you don't have insurance, talk to someone about state insurance. When I got my pregnancy confirmation from the health department they gave me a brochure of doctors within a 50 mile radius

You will want to call your local ob or midwife and they will set up your first appointment. My midwife always confirms with bloodwork and then sets up the first consult to go over all the nitty gritty. Typically they do the first ultrasound around 8wks, some do a little later then that so just depends on your practice. If you haven't already then a prenatal is good to get started on. Congrats!
