Ftm here with 3 week old son and yesterday my mom gave him a bath and then toweled him down and massaged him with some lotion and I guess he hates being cold so he kinda cries a lot. This time he cried so much he held his breath and wouldn't let it out and both of us kinda freaked out and thought he would die but thank God he just...calmed down and seemed to catch a breath or something...and then he was fine all of a sudden. Even stopped crying. Maybe he even scared himself...? Lol anyway I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone else's baby or if anyone knows anything...can a baby as young as mine...die from something like that? I looked up online about breath holding and it seems it can't cause death but I don't know. And is it normal for such a young baby to do that? Any advice or experience appreciated!
