Bikini or tankini?

Question

Do you ladies think when you're pregnant you should wear a tankini/bathing suit that covers your stomach or do you think it's okay  to wear a bikini? I'm just wondering because I was talking about bringing my four year olds to the beach and someone told me "well I hope you don't wear a bikini because that's inappropriate no matter how small you may be while pregnant."

If someone said that to you than they are probably uncomfortable themselves. Wear whatever you're comfortable with!

I was too scared to wear a bikini after my daughter but now that I'm pregnant I would have no problem, I feel like we are already confined in big clothes that trying to find a swimsuit that'll fit all our babyness would be a pain, so flaunt your belly all you want!

Do whichever makes you comfortable and won't cost you too much.. no need to buy another bathing suit just to please other people!

whatever you feel comfortable in, and you are being decent (i personally never go topless or in a thong bottom, but that's just me). 
if others don't like it, they can just turn their heads away.

I wear a bikini, not triangle top and tie bottom though, like a brief bottom with a bandeau or sports bra top, because wearing a tankini irritates the heck out of my skin. And a one piece is an absolute no go because there's no way I'm stripping naked in a bathroom stall with my kids every time I have to go pee.
