Anyone else in disbelief that a full term baby could ever fit in newborn sized clothes??

I bought mostly 0-3 month clothes before my son was born he was 7lbs 12oz and lost almost a lb after birth. We had to go out and buy NB clothes. He was swimming in the 0-3 month clothes we had for him!

My son was 8 pounds And newborn were huge on him.. He fit in newborn for about 2 months maybe a lil longer.. Idk where he weighed 8 Pounds at

I actually have preemie clothes for the hospital. I found with my 8# dd, newborn stuff swallowed her whole. I want baby boy to look precious in all of his hospital pics.

Both of my boys were 8+ pounds and 21 inches. The newborn clothes were huge. My boys wore them for 2 months lol. You wouldn't think they would fit because they look so tiny but you will be surprised how little they are at first :)

I couldn't use NB size with either kid for the first month. We had to go out and buy preemie or just swaddle them in blankets. The NB clothes were dangerously loose.

We didn't use newborn clothes until my baby was 5 months. And didn't get to 0-3 months until 12 months. Actually she didn't even fit into premie clothes until 8 weeks! Lmao. But normally newborns 7-8lbs will be in newborns for 2-4 weeks, I'm guessing. That's why I always buy people 0-3 months clothes for gifts! Same for the diapers.

I'm a little in shock that many could use newborn my son was 9+ lbs and his newborn  clothes were a joke luckily I bought a 3 months outfit too just in case
