How soon after a positive home pregnancy test should I see a doctor?

Call and let them know it was positive so that way they can give you a test too also when I found out I was pregnant they couldn't fit me in until forever! Call ASAP

I work at a doctors office we schedule our patients 6-8 weeks from the first day of the last period. But, we prefer they call as soon as possible because we may have to fit patients into the schedule.

Most doc will not see u until u r 8 weeks

I didn't have insurance right away so I wasn't able to get in until I was 13 weeks. Everything was fine it was just a really long 1st appointment. Not recommending this just sharing my situation.
