Experiences being induced?

I believe my doctor scheduled me to be induced on Thursday, my due date. Im so nervous I'm hoping he comes naturally before then. What was your experience like being induced, I'm so scared I'll end up with a c-section 😩

I was induced yesterday and I can honestly say everyone experience is unique I had an AWESOME delivery. I had Pitocin it only got really bad when they increased my dose the third time and they became real close. Once I got the epidural I did GREAT so go into it with a clear mind and remember your baby comes at the end of the road. GOODLUCK

I ended up being induced at exactly 39 weeks due to my blood pressure and anxiety. It didn't work for me. I was given the cervadil 8 pm Thursday and and when I went to the hospital I was dilated to a 1 and 80% effaced. By Friday morning at 6 am I was 100% and a 2. They broke my water at 6 am and Dave me pitocin which really made be contractions come on fast and furious. I had the epidural few hours after and that was not a bad process. It was a relief even though it worked more on one side more then the other. After 7 hours of pitocin and no movement they found the babies forehead was stuck and he wasn't going to be coming naturally so I ended up with a c section. Not the best feeling and recovery is hard but in the end we have a perfect little boy weighing 8 lbs! Any questions feel free to ask I just didn't want to give all the gory details.

Induction didn't really work on me. I went in at 9am and started pitocin. I had contractions, but they weren't painful at all. Finally at 7 pm they broke my water. That's when the pain begun. It was instant too. The very next contraction I had after my water being broke hurt. They still had the pitocin going which made my contractions come hard and fast. I finally asked for the epidural at 10pm. It took about an hour for the anesthesiologist to get there. The epidural was a lifesaver. It did however make my blood pressure go down which in turn made baby's heart rate drop, but they have medicine that makes that all better. I had my little girl the next day at 4:26am. Only pushed for a half hour.
