Is it possible to have a small gush of fluid only once then nothing and it be your waters? I am 36+5 and I was putting a clean pad on yesterday and pulled my pants up when I felt the small gush, I phoned the hospital and she said unless I have anymore leaking fluid or regular contractions then I've to stay at home and see what happens, I had 4 regular contractions after leaking the fluid but since then they've been irregular again, just worried as I have seen people saying if it's your waters then you have 24 hours before risk of infection so bit worried that I wasn't told to go in to be checked? I also have discharge everyday so don't think I could tell if I had amniotic fluid on my pad as there's always discharge on it aswell(sorry tmi) I also had a leak of fluid about 3-4 weeks back but was not given an examination I was just put on a monitor but had no contractions so was sent home
