How long do you make them wait?

I need advice I am seeing a guy who I really really like and want things to go well I don't want to sleep with him too early on as in past experiences that has never ended well...how long do you make them wait?

We waited 3 months. We never had a discussion about it but I feel like we both kind of made eachother wait. Like I remember a couple times after getting dinner I'd ask him to come over and he'd say "no because then things will happen and we can't do that yet" and I remember one time I told him I was taking a bath and he said "wish I could join" and is tell him not yet. Or onetime we were making out on my bed and it started getting intense and he was like "okay we gotta stop" so we both kept eachother in line. Again we never talked about it and when we did have sex it wasn't planned but it was awesome. He asked me a couple times if I was sure which I really appreciated it. I was instantly attracted to him sexually and emotionally. I always felt safe with him but I glad we waited just to be sure. The right person won't ever pressure you and if he leaves because you won't give it up he is not the one. Do it when it feels right to you :)

Well I've been seeing this guy since January and we still haven't had sex we cuddle and stuff but we haven't taken it there yet so whenever you feel ready and he feels ready you will know it will happen naturally

Whenever you are ready, you shouldn't say "how long should I make him wait" because it's completely up to you how long you want to wait.
