Taking a walk after c section?

Question

Ok ladies this is my first baby everything is new to me. My son is a week old today. I live in Virginia and it's been raining literally for a month I was wanting to get out because it's beautiful and 75° today and take a walk but don't know if it's too soon   after having a C-section or if it will help me recover faster.

I was constantly walking around L&D while in the hospital and we took baby for a walk outside the day we came home. Just don't push it too much. :)

Hey guys. I had a c section 5 days ago and I would love to be up and walking and in my feet more, but I'm so sore and am having a hard time getting around. What did you ladies do to get back On your feet so soon. Also my staples are coming out tomorrow and in hoping that helps!

I took a short when the baby was a week old and felt ok. I had a ton of swelling in my legs and feet that hurt the most when I got back from my walk.
I just had an appointment wth my OB and he said I could walk just avoid anything that's going to be high impact on or adds pressure to the stomach. My baby is now 2 weeks old

I am walking some too. Actually with baby in my moby wrap. I don't go far in case I need to go back quickly.  I'm in VA too 😊
