After the first 6 weeks of EBF, it was a BREEZE.

It gets really complicated when you start trying to pump or introduce supplement bottles. Breast milk is supply and demand. Baby demands by suckling at your breast to stimulate your body to produce exactly what baby needs! It's a beautiful relationship!

The first few weeks your nipples will hurt so bad, you will feel like they are going to fall off. But after that it's a breeze. Just push through those first few weeks.

In the beginning absolutely NOT! After about 6 weeks it got easier, and 6 months in it was second nature. This is with sore bloody nipples, clogged ducts, 3 nipple blisters, 1 case of mastitis and a round of antibiotics. I nursed for 2 years and don't regret a single second of it, can't wait to do it again in 2 months!

My son couldn't latch properly and we had to use a nipple shield for a few months but once we both got the hang of it it was good :)

Not at first. It took a bit to get there.

The first month was HARD! It took everything in my power to push through... and once I did, omg... it was the easiest thing in the world. Especially when my baby could lay down beside me and feed while I caught more sleep.

My nipples never got sore, even in the beginning. No issues at all with the mechanics. It's hard as in he needs to nurse so often and it's time consuming lol

That's a funny question. I feel there's no way to answer that yes or no, lol. I have breastfed 3 babies, and while I would say it was easy, even easy breastfeeding is still difficult. I know that helps, right?  My middle son and I both had thrush, and that was a nightmare. With my oldest, when my milk first came in about 3 days after birth, my breasts were so hard that she could not latch. I had to get a breast pump (my mil had to go get it) to soften them up a little before she nursed. I think you just need to be mentally prepared that it is going to take some work. Dedicate yourself to 6 weeks no matter what, and you'll be in it for the long haul. My first nursed 8 months, second was 9 months, third was 16 months!
