Genderalizing our son?

We just found out we are having a boy due in November. My mother in law and sister in law said they are still dressing him in the girl clothes and dresses they bought (because they went out and bought a ton of clothes thinking it was a girl). My husband said absolutely not and I agreed. They called us horrible for genderalizing our child because he could be gay and we are forcing him to wear boy clothes.... they are talking about an infant here. Am I crazy for being super pissed?? They literally called us horrible for planning to dress our infant/toddler son in boy clothes and not girly dresses. And they said that they would do it anyway any time they babysit, they don't care. Is this ridiculous to anyone else??

Update** We did say if our child made a decision to play with barbies or whatever, or maybe later in life told us he was gay or identified as female, of course we would still love him just the same!! But we are talking about a baby here. Lol
