Does the length of your cycle have any impact on ttc?

I have cycles that are usually 35 days. I ovulate on day 21 or 22. Sometimes I am jealous of people who have shorter cycles because they get to start over sooner than me. I hate all of the waiting. But at least I know when I ovulate thanks to opk's.

When I first started getting my period my cycles were 28 days very regular.  But as years pass and using different birth control methods, they started to change.  Since last October they have been from 29- 35. 35 was the longest and was a off cycle. My average is really 30  days.

I've heard 28 days is best but it's normal for cycle length to fluctuate. The last time I got pregnant my cycle was 35 days and I'm normally 28-29.
