Weeks????

So I went to the doctor and they told me that I was 5wks and 4 days. But I took a digital pregnancy test yesterday and it said I was 2-3 weeks. I'm confused

Digital I think go by when you ovulated. You would add two weeks to that because they always measure by when your last period was (which means about two weeks of your "pregnancy" you're not pregnant as you haven't even ovulated yet) that's just the easiest way for doctors to measure your pregnancy as most people don't know when EXACTLY they ovulated.

Read the directions... the pregnancy test tells you how many weeks since conception. Doctors count pregnancy from the first day of your last period

The digital test tells you how many weeks since you ovulated, so if you ovulated 2-3 weeks ago then you are 5 weeks pregnant because it goes off your last period. I was confused by the same thing when I tested haha I think there is a chart in the directions of the pregnancy tests that explains it as well(:
