Okay, so today I am 32+4 with my first baby and I went to the doctor on Wednesday & I am almost completely effaced. My doctor said my cervix is so thin she could barely feel it but my cervix is still closed so I have no dilated at all. On May 16th I was hospitalized and I tested positive for preterm labor & I was only 50% effaced. Is it normal for effacement to happen this early & that quickly? Should I be concerned? I really do not want her to come this early.
