Is it normal for a 6 day old to feed for a long period of time? Sometimes he will be on me for an hour or more and still act like he is hungry. He is also a baby that has a desire to suck all the time so he has a pacifier as well. Sometimes it's hard for me to tell if he is still hungry or if he is just wanting to be on my boob. He also seems to detach from me a few times during feedings and then gets upset. I like breastfeeding I am just hoping that it becomes a little easier for us both.
