Scared Ex Virgin

I lost my virginity last night to my boyfriend. I love him and he made me feel so comfortable. It was sweet and fulfilling. However I woke up with my entire pelvic region (including my vulva) sore as fuck. I told him to go faster and I immediately regretted it because it started hurting soon. He's quite large and I know it sounds soooo dumb but I just want to know if this soreness is normal or if I broke something somehow. Please help!
